essential documents

We liked talking about Untitled House almost as much as we liked having the events.   And I enjoyed writing up the minutes and other essential documents almost as much as I liked talking about the gallery. Here, therefore, is a special section for special documents.

Every art movement needs a manifesto, and because Untitled House was a whirlwind of an art movement in a gallery, we needed at top-notch manifesto. And here it is!

Strong claims, boldly expressed.

Our artist's disclaimer was no less characterful:

promising little, demanding much...

... to be signed by all participating artists.

Our generic flyer (we also had a flyer for individual shows). Kindly laid out and printed by Janice of Haggerston.

a little dated now, but very 'cutting edge' at the time.

A letter asking for sponsorship. Unsuccessful.

Two sets of minutes, the first from late 1999, the second from early 2000. What fun we had at the meetings, and ensuring the rightful place of Untitled House at the very centre of the artworld firmament.
A great deal of activity proposed.
Still working hard

But there was no end to our creative talents. Early in 2000, we proposed a series of interesting and artworld-shattering Untitled House events (sadly unrealised).

not just one page full...

... but two!
